VOLUNTEER TODAY

Welcome:

The Sun City Center Security Patrol, which has been continuously active since 1982, is a volunteer organization staffed by some 1,500 SCC residents giving of their time to make our community a better place.  It's likely that you have seen our Patrol vehicles driving by - perhaps several times a day!

The mission of the Security Patrol is: "TO DETER CRIME IN SUN CITY CENTER."  Within that mission and through our motto of "See and Be Seen" the Patrol helps deter crime in our neighborhoods and business districts by creating a patrol presence that is visible and always on the lookout for the unusual.  While we have no police authority, the Patrol works in cooperation with the Hillsborough County Sheriff's Department, and in particular, with its Community Resource Deputy,

We would like for you to learn more about us.  This web site should provide answers to questions you may have about the Patrol, its operation, and mission.

The Patrol is continually looking for residents to become Patrol Volunteers; serving as drivers, dispatchers, Deputy Captains, and Captains.  Click on "Join the Patrol" for more information.

We also need your financial support to keep our Patrol vehicles and headquarters operating.  Click on "Financial Support" for ways to help us

Drop by and visit us sometime.  There is usually coffee brewing (or even yesterday's batch is darn good).  The refrigerator is typically stocked with leftover pastry from some event in town.  And, you'll be certain to find good ole' Southern Hospitality

If you haven't found us yet, we are just to the right of the CA Office in the North Complex.  In any event here's that map again.
