Getting Oriented!

While we have already established that being a Patrol Member is fun (we hope we have), it also requires some critical knowledge of how Patrol Members conduct themselves in carrying out our mission.  With some 1,500 volunteers, a chain of command structure and specific procedures must be followed to ensure our own safety, and the safety of those we come in contact with in the community.  Orientation Training is the method of ensuring that all new volunteers hear the same message and receive the same instruction.

Your Orientation Session will cover:

1)  Mission of the Patrol

2)  Organization and Personnel

3)  General Guidelines, Policies, and Rules of Conduct

4)  Patrolling

5)  Communications

6)  House Watch Program

7)  Special Instructions

8)  Security Patrol Background

9)  Patrol Car Operation
